32. KING AND QUEEN

After a couple of hours, Nina found herself lying on the bathroom floor, shivering in cold. She had fallen unconscious due to crying too much.

She somehow managed to get up, dry herself up with a towel and slowly walked out of the bathroom. As she entered the room, she saw Lucian, sleeping peacefully with a smile plastered on his face. That smile made her realise that no matter how hard she tried, how hard she fought, in the end, she had to give up, she had to lose this battle.

Tears started streaming down from her eyes once again. But this time, she couldn't make any noise. She had to cry silently. She somehow picked up her clothes from the floor, wore them and walked towards her bed. She was shivering badly because she felt cold and the temperature of the AC was low as well.

She wrapped herself nicely with her quilt and wept to sleep. But was it even possible that she could have a good night sleep?
