The moment I stepped into the house, I met mom and Liz discussing over something while she ran the brush through the length of her hair , she caught sight of me approaching and the wide smile on her face disappeared completely.
I gulped down with great difficulty as her lips firmed into one of those disapproving lines I knew too well.I tried on my best innocent docile expression as I further ventured into the living room.
