Chapter 43 Purpose

I moved towards the lake, passing the long green grasses. I can feel those grasses swiftly touching me through my clothes. And it made me remember the fur of Beast. That was so warm, soft, and cozy. I could have lived my whole life sitting on his fur.

As I moved forward, I saw the blue and calm lake in front of me. I remembered yesterday's play. I played a lot in this lake with Beast. I was like splashing water on him again and again. And he too did it. Like jumping on his two front legs and splashing water on me. We really had a lot of fun yesterday. I forgot that I was attacked by some weird creature while with Beast.

But today Beast was not here. I don't know where he was. Was he still upset or what? I was standing alone in this beautiful and huge lake.
