Upon reaching the place, I was hit with a sudden ache in my heart.The amount of lives we lost is really heart breaking.I didn't realize the tear that rolled down my cheek until I felt a thumb across my face.I shifted my gaze to Lucian as he gently wiped my tear.I could sense he wasn't feeling any better either.I blinked back the tears and watched how his hand trailed down to hold mine.I gave his hand a gentle squeeze before walking with him.The Pack mourned for the lives we lost.The funeral was sweet sorrow, for in those moments of raw pain.Pack members smiled with tears in their eyes as they exchanged stories and reminisced the good times they shared with the deceased.Listening their words managed to set a heavy feeling in my heart.I could not help but feel guilty and at fault for the loss they had.But I have to keep my mind and heart strong because Lucian as Alpha must be feeling terrible.The guilt of not being able to protect his Pack warriors must be killing him inside.He migh
