Honeymoon

The car had been oddly quietly, Kayden had been driving for more than fifteen minutes to God knows where, he didn’t turn on their radio as well and Crystal forced herself to stay awake. Crystal glanced at him, from the sides of her eyes, she didn’t want to make it obvious she was staring at him.

She watched him control the steering wheel professionally, the features of his face were relaxed, it was as though he wasn’t capable of any harm. She cleared her throat, deeply disturbed by the awkward quietness; Kayden hasn’t spoken a word to her since the wedding.

“Hey,” Her voice came out nasal; she cleared her throat again and then glanced at him. “Do you mind telling me where we are going? You’ve been driving for quite a while now?”

She blinked once, twice, three times... she realized he didn’t answer her, he didn’t even react, and it was as though she hadn’t said anything in the first place. “You’re not going to answer me, are you?”
