Flowers And Promises

Sienna tilted her face up to look at the blue sky. Although the lofty big tree leaves covered most of her view, she managed to get a glimpse of the sky. The sky was clear and bright. A perfect day for hiking. Sienna had changed into a blue t-shirt and shorts. She ditched her heels for sneakers and completed the look with a round hat.

"The weather is lovely today," Sienna remarked while staring up at the sky. Azriel followed her gaze.

"Weather here changes in the blink of an eye," Azriel replied staring at the sky.

"Let's go,' Azriel told her and turned to walk ahead. Sienna followed him.

The ascent to the mountain was like walk in a park for Azriel whereas Sienna couldn't wait for this orenous task to get over. Her excitement began to fade away as teh time went on and more layers of dirt found their place on her skin. Her feet were hurting and her clothes were stained with mud due to slipping a few times.
