Lea’s point of view:

“Can you at least tell me where we are going?” I asked while shifting to a better position.

“We are here.” Ryder stated right when he turned the steering wheel to the left to park his car by the side of the street.

I frowned and strained my neck to get a better look at the over-crowded entrance.

“Is that the county fair?” I inquired with a wide smile while my heart bounced in anticipation.

“Do you like it?” I was appalled when I saw the anxious look on Ryder’s face.

“Like it? I love it. It’s been so long since I have been to some carnival. Thank you!” I reassured him and then gave him a hug to show him just how grateful I was to him for bringing me here.

“This 2 hours ride was totally worth it.” I blithely added.

“What are we waiting for then? Let’s go!” Ryder exclaimed with a girlish
