Chapter 24: Teasing Shawn

"I'm pregnant......and it's Dane's", she whispered.

Gabriella was too stunned to say anything, she couldn't think of anything to say much less how to say it.. "You're pregnant? For Dane?", she repeated, unsure of what to think about it.

"Yeah! My confusion was by far more complex than yours when George informed me...... At first I thought I fainted due to exhaustion and stress, then George brought the results, then I found out it's because I've been eating less lately and the child absorbing most of it, the nourishment wasn't enough to sustain me and the last fight I had with Dane...... It's a miracle that the baby survived", she explained relieving the moment of anguish.

She didn't know what to feel, should she be angry, sad or happy about this baby.....her baby, it was all a pile jumbled feelings threatening to swallow her whole and it still might, if she doesn't thread on this dangerous path carefully.
