Chapter 60

Stanley’s eyes widened in shock, he saw the guards he sent to keep an eye on Kimberly rush out. He walked towards them and buttoned one of them.

‘Where is she? Where is my baby?’ he asked and they all looked scared.

‘We, we searched all the rooms…and when we were about to check the last corridor…there was an explosion from one of the wards which caused the fire’

‘So you came out without my baby and wife?’ he gritted his teeth angrily before pushing them away, Stanley rushed in and this made Mrs. Williams sad.

‘Kimberly’ Stanley called out as he kept breaking the doors of each ward. There was a lot of smoke that made it hard to breathe. He kept coughing out, and the guards and nurses kept pushing some patients outside.

‘Where is Kimberly Parker?’ Stanley asked a nurse who pointed at the room at the edge. ‘The fire came from her room’ she said and Stanley could feel his pulse increase.

The explosion came from her room. He stared at the room whose door was burnt down as well.
