Chapter 69

Brittany picked up the bouquet and went to arrange them in the vase by her window. Then turned to Cole.

“Why did you get me flowers though,” she asked. Cole gestured for her to wait then took out his phone then played audio.

“Because beautiful women like you deserve flowers” the automated voice sounded across the room making Brittany blush.

She smiled and then remembered that she had planned to surprise him earlier.

“Vincci, apart from tomorrow when is your off day? I was thinking maybe we could go out and… catch up”

Cole stroked his artificial bushy beard and started thinking of when he thought was appropriate to reveal his identity to her. Maybe by the end of the month would be fine for now he’d have to keep up the act. He picked up his phone and typed then tapped on the audio icon.

“The last day of this month” the automated voice announced. Brittany nodded happily the end of the month was enough time to learn his likes and dislikes which would help her throw a befitting thank-you
