Honestly it didn't matter whether he got lost or not,but he wouldn't want to make Lucia worry about him. He patted his pockets and did not find his phone,it's then he realised that he had left his phone behind when he was trying to escape his security details. He had made that decision on a whim, not caring about his safety despite knowing that he was a wanted person.
