Linda Point of view

I know I shouldn’t worry and give her space but the longer I sit around and wait my anxieties will eat me up. “Sam!” I call out her name as I push around some bushes and branches. I should give her space but I just can’t do that. “Sam!” What if she fell, hit her head, or hurt herself intentionally again. The third one is most likely to happen and I’m the idiot who thought it was fine to give her some space. 

A branch I pushed back flung back to hit me in the head. I held my head and groaned. It wasn’t hard but I was starting to get frustrated with myself. It has been 30 minutes since she left and I’ve called several times but she never answers. I could not even find her. She said she wouldn’t be far. 

I am the worst best friend ever. "Where are you, Sam?" I look up. It’s going to be dark soon. Her brother
