Samantha Point of view
When I woke up, the house was completely empty. There was no sign of Ryder in the room. I tried calling out to him but silence only replied. I guess Ryder left before I woke up. I held my head with on hand trying to recall my last memory of my heat. My memory was a blur from but I wouldn't want to know what happened in my room. I blushed at the thought of it.
I walked into the kitchen to get a glass of water. It was a struggle at first to find where everything was but I managed to get myself some water. After drinking, I set the glass on the sink and caught a glimpse of a book Xavier told me that was from my mom.

Third Person Point of view Everyone who was at the hospital went ahead to check on Sam to see if she was alright. Bruce wasn't the type to make friends with strangers. It surprised everyone when he brought 4 complete strangers into Xavier's house without warning. His only message to them before he arrived as we are coming. He didn't even bother to mention who "we" are. The room fell silent when Bruce and his friends went in. Bruce notices odd looks on their faces. He traced their stares to the little girl.
