Chapter 16 - Priorities

With my hair still wet from my shower I rushed to open my front door, someone was knocking on it very loudly.

I swung the door open to find Wyatt, he wore a tight black T-shirt and a pair of blue jeans. It was strange seeing him in something other than a suit.

"Wyatt, what are you doing here?"

"I need you to join me on a business trip."

"What? Where?"

He walked into my apartment, "We're flying to London."

"When?"

"Today. You have about two hours to pack."

My eyes widened, "What? That's such short notice. I need to get a pet sitter to watch my cat."

He turned to stare at Toby who was curled in a ball on the sofa, "We can drop him off at my place, the employees will look after him."

I sighed, "Have they ever looked after cats? I can't leave him with just anyone."

Wyatt frowned, "Kenzie, with the amount I pay them, they'll look after a tiger if I tell them to. Get ready."
