Chapter 34: I've Decided!

I sat crying on the bed, watching when I was at my weakest, the person who cared and worriedly called me was Roy. I cried then laughed. It's not that I'm crazy, but I realize that there are people who care about my feelings, but I still don't expect that person to be my colleague and friend Roy.

As soon as Roy arrived, I heard the rush of his footsteps and the eagerness in his every step. He knocked on my bedroom door after searching everywhere:

“Flora, are you in here? Flora? Flora?"

I stood up and staggered to the door and opened it, softly saying,

“I'm here…”

“Are you okay? You look so tired and pale.” Roy put his hand on my forehead and he slowly touched his forehead. Confirming I didn't have a fever, he breathed a sigh of relief.

This small gesture of his is enough to make me move. Roy wiped the tears off my face with a handkerchief, he didn't ask about me but gently wiped away the tears on my smeared face.
