Author’s Note

Hello everyone,

I want to express my gratitude to all the readers who have reached the recent chapter of the book. Your comments, gems, and reviews have been truly wonderful, and thank you for making it over 100k reads. I didn’t want to do this but I had to after seeing the recent comments, I’m feeling so down right now after reading those comments.

Here are the things I would like to clarify;

Firstly, I would like to take this opportunity to address some issues about the book. For those who think Henry suddenly wants Gwen back because of what Emily did to him then you’re all wrong. I need to clarify that Henry had feelings for Gwen before the incident with Emily, and his interest in her was not a result of Emily's actions. Before discovering Emily's secret, Henry was already drawn to Gwen.

Secondly, I see comments about Gwen being a weak woman who went back to her cheating husband (for this it hasn’t been clarified that she indeed chose to start over with Henry) they’ve only kissed and that’s all, there wasn’t anything mentioned about them getting back together after their kiss so please take note of this.

Thirdly, Many of you say Jason was kidnapped (well to Gwen he was) but to Ian, he wasn’t. To him, it felt like getting his son back, even though he did it the wrong way. Jason wasn’t harmed neither was Gwen or Jasmine during the whole thing.

Fourthly, I saw a comment about me writing just for money (thank you for commenting your thoughts anyway 🫶) I wrote the plot down and decided to make the story this way so if you think you can't read such then you can kindly stop reading.

I'm also human and seeing these harsh comments hurts, if you still want to read on after this, please let's be kind with our words.
