No, no. This shouldn’t be happening, it can’t be. Henry does not know about it. He shouldn’t have known, not now when I’m almost close to getting what I want.

“Do you have any idea how heartbreaking it is to know that the one person you kept dear in your heart is actually the one person that has and will cause you more pain in your life? That’s how I fucking felt when I was handed this report,” he opened his briefcase and threw a pile of files at me.

Still unable to believe what was going on I bent and picked every single piece of paper on the ground and each of them had proof of my infidelity, there were also pictures to back up the claims. He had everything, there was nothing here that wasn’t believable.

“Henry….” I called.

“Don’t!” He ordered, I couldn’t recognize his voice anymore. He sounded so different from the Henry I know, he sounded pained and hurt and angry.
