Chapter One Hundred Sixty Eight

She paused when I said that, she dropped the fork and I noticed she didn’t eat it. I didn’t mean to bring this up while she was eating but I had to. Any moment from now when she’s done eating I would be out of the house even though I do not want that.

She sighed and without looking at me she said,

“If this is about us or our relationship I want you to drop it,”

“Yeah, now are you ready to listen to me, Gwen?” I asked and she nodded.
