Chapter Sixty Three

I entered the room but paused by the bedside, I stared at my daughter without making an effort to pick her up from the bed. I didn’t want her to go and neither did I want Henry here. I should have just bare his ass for a long time and maybe have dinner with Jas before they but once again I'm reminded that I don’t have the rights over her and also I have no time on my side.

Nina and Jade have been blowing my phone up with texts, asking why I didn’t want them here now. The truth is that I don’t know what to tell them so I decided to leave the texts that way; I only told them to come before nine. It was past eight now so I still had enough time.

After standing there for a while, I decided to carry her. Henry was waiting in the living room…alone and I have no idea what he must be doing in my apartment.

“Time to go home baby,” I whispered to her as she stirred.

Even though this was also her home…her new home to be. I knew I just had to wait for a while.
