Chapter Twenty Nine

I woke up the next morning with a sore body and a pounding headache, I guess it was a result of me crying too much earlier. I sluggishly got up from the bed, and even though I had no intention of ever leaving the confinement of this room—especially this bed—I had to do it. My plans for this morning were to go for some job hunting and then come back to eat breakfast.

I made my way to the bathroom and took my yesterday’s clothes off, I had a quick bath before coming out of the bathroom and that was when the realization dawned on me.

I don’t have anything to wear. Left with no other choice I had to put on the dress I wore yesterday even though it was dirty. With that thought I knew there had been a change of plans, there was no way I’d go out putting on a dirty dress that smelled of sweat.
