My heart skipped a bit upon seeing the man. He wore a face mask covering part of his face. Who was he? A reporter? Where was the security?

My bodyguard's name first came into my mind.

Hawk! Seize this man! I wanted to scream, but I lost my voice. I did not know what I should do in the first place.

A thief in broad daylight? I asked in my mind.

In the background, Cali was still trying to grab my attention, but I could no longer manage to answer him. When he continued to make me talk, I left the call open, as I wanted to focus on the man in front of me.

The man looked around. He wore a facemask helping him so that no one would be able to recognize him instantly. And when his gaze landed in my direction, I hid in one of the biggest flower plants in the garden instantly and waited for him to think that no one saw him.

What was he doing here? Why did he look familiar? His eyes…it seemed that I had seen them already.
