After Ella’s car disappeared, a few men in blue aprons approached the security guard at the gate with their work tools. They were driving a long truck, and they seemed to be in a hurry.

“We are here to finish up the renovation that has been ongoing. There is something that our client was not satisfied with, and we are here to work on it.”

The security guard looked at their work ID’s. Seeing that it was the same company that had frequented here for the past month renovating the newly bought house, he allowed them in.

The men in the blue aprons entered with their truck. They quietly parked it near Ella’s car. As others took out their tools and walked towards Daniel’s house, others remained in the parking lot. The security cameras had already been tampered with, so they could do whatever they wanted without being caught.

After Ella and the kids left, Daniel did not go back to sleep. He went and took a quick shower. By the time he was done, Tony was already at the house.
