Chapter 17 - Revenge

Zach's POV

I'm in shock. My head is aching badly. I can't even feel my injuries because of the shock and on top of that, the police need information so they can fill up the accident report.

Accidents happen unexpectedly. One second you're driving peacefully or stressfully and the next second, a drunk truck driver comes and hits you.

Everything happens really fast. You see blood but don't know where its coming from.

It can take hours or even days for the shock to wear off.

And the next day you realize how lucky you are to be alive. You finally discover your injuries and bruises a few days later.

After explaining everything to the police officer, he's finally going to leave.

"OK then, thanks for your time. I'll go and interrogate your friends" he says with a warm smile and I smile back.

Dylan and Rilee were also in the room with me when the police were asking questions.
