Hayden
I had been urging Madeleine to fight and not give in to her worries and anxieties while trying to make her stand on her own feet against Steve.
I knew that I only had one week to do so and after that she would be out of my territory and I would have no control over who treated her in what way.
My method had been a little harsh but it had been for the best. I could have of course intervened when Steve had attempted to choke her. My instructions had been pretty clear that none of the opponents was supposed to seriously injure or harm each other.
Had Steve continued restricting her wind supply for even one more minute, I didn’t know what would have happened. And, I didn’t want to imagine.
