After a couple of days of travel, Lucifron, who was guiding the group, recognizes the forest. He knew he was near the Red River Pack. He landed, and everyone did the same. In human form, they walk through the forest.

In his heart, he feared that the pack was undone. The entire search for Gary, his salvation and way back had lasted almost 2 months. What if the beta had given up, and there would have been a new Alpha in Gary's place?
