Business Trip

As I sat at my desk in my office, my mind wandered to Kate once again. I couldn't seem to shake her from my thoughts, no matter how hard I tried. I had met her at a bar a few weeks ago, and ever since then, I couldn't get her out of my head. The problem was, she was a stripper, and I knew that getting involved with her could be trouble.

I was so lost in thought that I didn't even hear Rita come into the room. It wasn't until she called my name that I snapped out of it.

"Christopher, are you okay?" she asked, looking at me with concern.

I shook my head, trying to clear my thoughts. "Sorry, Rita. I was just lost in thought."

She gave me a sympathetic smile. "Anything you want to talk about?"

I hesitated for a moment, wondering if I should confide in my secretary about my personal life. But something about Rita's kind eyes and friendly demeanor put me at ease.

"I was just thinking about women," I admitted.

Rita chuckled. "Well, that's not surprising. You're a single man, after all."
