As Kate hurried out of the dining hall, tears in her eyes, I felt a mix of emotions washing over me - anger, confusion, and concern. I wanted to go after her, to comfort her, but I also knew that she needed some space to process her emotions. Instead, I turned my attention to my brother, Kelvin, who was sitting across from me.
