Chapter Fifty

Helen's mom was shocked to the bones the way her daughter spoke to her nonchalantly, "So you are saying you are tired and I should not bother you right?" 

"Mom, don't get me wrong. Am tired like I said and am not in the mood."

"Wow." Her mother clapped, "So you have the guts to tell me I was using bedroom voice and I didn't shout to call your name, didn't you hear when I called or were you deaf? Do you need to see an ear doctor? I know what to do. Next time,maybe I will use loud speaker when I talk to you because you are just pissing me off right now and..." She was speechless, she just looked at Helen and shook her head, "I don't know why am arguing with you, am wasting my time." She hissed, "I don't have your time. Anyway, where is Helen and why has her husband not arrived yet? Didn't he know that his wife just put to bed? And he need to leave whatever stupid work in his office to attend to his wife? Can't he ask for permission from his boss and come here right away?"&n
