Coco looked straight at the operating door and never met Lucas' gaze.

After the surgery, Serenity was wheeled out of the operating room, sedated and unconscious. Coco accompanied them to the ward and watched Jackson gently guard Serenity by the bed with a touch of envy in her eyes.
