Chapter 92

RISSA'S POV

He never wanted to leave her. He would sit beside her everyday, watching her, and caressing her hands, as she lay comatose.

"Dude, you need to get some rest." Billy would say whenever he came into the room and found Drax sitting quietly beside her. Often, he would decline. Reason being that he can't leave her to be alone all by herself.

Not until after Billy would offer to stay and watch her, would he leave the room to go and eat, have a bath, and freshen up.

After being in coma for over a week, on the ninth day, Drax was beside her as usual when he noticed her hands twitch.

The electroencephalogram (EEG) machine attached to Rissa's head to monitor her, also changed the frequency of it's beeping, to indicate normal brain activity.

As soon as Drax noticed some micro-movements in her body for the first time since the coma, he quickly ran out of the room to notify the doctor.

In a few seconds, they both rushed into the room. By then, Rissa's eyes were slightly open. But she c
