Chapter 38 Murder

     We reached the hospital in record time. Viren drove at high speed breaking rules on his way. There Priya saw her mom sitting in the waiting area whimpering. Veer was standing in a corner.

   "Ma, what has happened?"

   " Vasudha told me she was going to buy some kids stuff. I told her to wait for me. By the time I got ready, she had left. Two hours had passed and she didn't return. I was getting anxious, so I called her. A stranger picked me up and asked me to come here. She told me that Vasudhda tripped and fell from the escalator. Seeing her condition she brought her here."  She was unable to hold onto her tears and was sobbing intently.

    " Do you remember the name of the mall?"Viren asked her.
