　　No response. All he heard was the running water.

Lucas kicked the door open.

Inside, Oliver had fallen to the ground on his back, unconscious. He was naked.

Lucas picked him up and put him on the bed. He took a bath towel and wrapped him in it. His heart beat wildly as he tried to listen for breathing. Lucas pressed his ear against Oliver’s chest to listen for a heartbeat.
