Chapter 16: A Party And Confrontation (2)

Sophia and Caden were still stuck in the party. Both entertaining guest who came up to talk to them, and didn't have time to accompany each other.

Sophia was deeply exhausted from speaking with people, but didn't show it on her face.

She wanted to go somewhere to breath for a minute and wanted to tell Caden but seeing him so preoccupied, she chose to leave without telling him and exited through the back door.

She walked in the long hallway trying to find an open space until she spotted a rather huge balcony. Deciding to take a rest there, she walked, and soon felt the night breeze hitting every part of her body.

She shivered, hugging her body, and then went at the edge to look at the wonderful scenery. The place was mostly filled with trees, and the landscape was beautifully executed. She raised her head up, looking at the twinkling stars as a smile slowly made it's way in her face.

"This is nice." She breathed in the night air and stretched her arms.
