40. Surprisingly

I swallowed the last meatball in my bowl. Kenan seemed to quite enjoy his food. He hadn't said anything since we arrived at this meatball stall.

I'm sure he knows that I'm waiting for an explanation.

Haven't we discussed this matter many times? I won't agree if he transfers to my school. Why is he still doing that?

"Your food is finished, so don't avoid it any longer!" I argued.

Kenan took a deep breath. He then drank the iced tea that was served in front of him and looked at me intently.

"So, why did you do that? I told you that you don't have to transfer to my school!" I shouted quickly.

"This is the first time I've chosen to follow my heart rather than my logic! I just wanted to quickly transfer to your school to protect you! Is it wrong?" He said he was annoyed.

Is it wrong? Wah!

"Kenan, maybe you don't know that what you're doing weighs heavily on me!" I half-screamed.
