57. Kenan's House

The bell signaling the end of class sounded. The teacher who taught us immediately said goodbye. After tidying up the books and putting them in my school bag, I quickly walked out of the classroom.

I walked unsteadily towards the front gate of my school. I was a little surprised when I saw Kenan already sitting on his motorbike right in front of our school gate.

Kenan walked up to me and invited me to his house to meet his mother. The offer made me feel doubtful and afraid.

"Seriously, Kenan. Is it not too soon if you will introduce me to your mother?” I asked a little doubtful.

"Of course not. You don't have to worry, honey."

I had never met his mother before, and the thought of meeting her made me nervous.

Kenan smiled warmly. "I know you're unsure, but don't worry. My mom is a nice person, and she wants to get to know you better because I've told her so much about you."

I looked at Kenan with doubt. "Are you sure? I don't want to make you or your mother uncomfortable, Kenan."
