87. Good News

Adipati and I took a deep breath after finishing our task. Okay, blame me for forgetting all my college assignments because I was busy thinking about Kenan. I don't think about that task until after we've had dinner. Luckily, Adipati wants to help me do it. He helped me summarize while I typed it on my laptop. We worked on it until midnight. Crazy indeed. Luckily, Dad was out of town.

"Ah, my back hurts so bad," muttered Adipati as he lay down on the carpet while closing his eyes.

"Sorry, I shouldn't have forgotten a task as important as this," I said quietly.

He didn't answer and just chuckled softly.

"Don't apologize; I really enjoyed today," he said while straightening his body.

We glanced at the digital clock that lay on my nightstand. It's very late.

"Want to stay?" I asked spontaneously.

Wow, that sounds crazy. What did I just say?

"I mean, we have several bedrooms for guests; you can use one of them. It's already very late anyway," I corrected.
