Chapter 100

That morning, the hospital received three people in desperate need of medical care. Two being Mpumi and Dion, and the third being an old man, probably unrelated to any of them two.

When Bowman heard the news that his only son was laying in hospital bed in the very earliest hours of morning, he hesitated not. He took the first flight back home, his son needed him. He took no time to explain things to Daphne and the others, his son needed him. He stood outside Dion’s allocated room and with few friends and family. There was anxiety and frustration, “Why are they taking so long?”

The father would not stand still.

Almost like the doctor heard him ask, he showed up.

“Doctor?” the family was impatient. 

“We ran some tests—”

“Yes, doctor. We know!” cried Liam. “You told us that hours ago. Now tell us the results.”
