Zara's POV

Luckily the door was slightly ajar. I grabbed the chance to tiptoe to the corner that was very close to room number 308. Not just could I hear what was going on inside but also get a glimpse of it as well.

I saw Tania seated on the bed, her face was clouded with worry. The moment the man came into the room, and walked a few steps inside toward the bed, her eyes twinkled and she immediately rose from the bed.

“So, here you are finally!” She exclaimed.

“Oh gosh, Tania! Why would you message something that harsh to me, huh?” The man said sharply.

Message? What message was he talking about?

The man sounded incensed, “Do you mean those words?”

Tania trembled a little before she said timidly, “Ye… yes.”

The man wore a grave face before he threw his head back and let out a loud laughter.

“Hahaha!”

Not just me but Tania was shaken by his reaction. She grabbed the man's arm and said, “Charlie, why are you laughing?”

Charlie flashed a big smile and said, “My baby is pranking me, I kn
