CHAPTER 12

LILIANA POV

The sun just set and it is almost dark. Still, I am in my office to finish some work while waiting for my husband. Takashi and his revelations still linger in my mind. I can't believe him that easily, he could be an enemy in the first place. I need to tell my husband about this as soon as possible. Takashi is trying to destroy the trust I have for Xavier. But why will he do this? Is he working for my brother? Or, what if Takashi is telling the truth? Does this mean that Xavier is lying to me?

"Madam?" Rosie called for me.

"Sir Xavier is waiting for you at the cottage ma'am. He prepared a simple dinner," I felt so much excitement to hear my husband's name. I am like a teenager, so excited to see her ultimate crush.

I proceed to the cottage immediately, and there I saw Xavier sitting with a bouquet in his hands.

I felt the butterflies inside my stomach. We are now married but still, he will do this thing to me. I moved closer to him. The moment is too magical and romantic. T
