A week passed by in the blink of an eye.

In the past week, the Walkers had repeatedly sent people to rescue Trent, but none of them returned.

The people they sent did not just fail to rescue Trent. They could not even set foot in Jade Manor. They were all killed outside the manor by the Four Elders of the Cole family.

The atmosphere at the Walker Mansion became more and more grave. They failed to get any useful information, and they lost quite a number of people.

Morgan sat in the center of the living room, looking at the information his subordinate brought to him with a sullen expression. The frosty air he exuded got stronger the more he read.

In the end, he threw the papers on the floor and kicked the subordinate standing in front of him. The subordinate fell a few meters away from him.

"Useless! You're all a bunch of worthless crap! It's been days, yet you failed to get any useful information. What's the point of keeping you around?" Morgan bellowed.

Jonas went up to pick up
