Clark's pov

I must have passed out, but the last thing I recalled was the fact that things weren't as easy as I thought they would be. I had really thought I would have been able to beat him, or slit his throat, but it seemed like despite the wounds he had, he was still really strong.

"Fuck!!" I yelled in anger. I was supposed to have killed him, but I let him go. How was I going to find him now?

I didn't even know how long I was out for, but no matter what it was going to take, I had to find him.

It was only a matter of time before I left the house. I didn't know what was going on anymore but I was wishing it wasn't true. My heart drummed like never before.

Mia was going to be so angry if she found out that I had not done what she asked me to do.

I swallowed hard. I knew she would not hesitate to kill me, and that fact remained that I couldn't just thinking about the the whole thing. I was beyond scared.

"You better keep running because I'm going to hunt you down."
