34Kira's POV.

At night, I stayed in my room, and watched from the window how the men drank. A smirk crept to my lips, but I snapped back to reality when the door pushed open.

“Kira, why are you staring at the window like that? You didn't come down for breakfast, and now you're not even going to have dinner?” She asked, making me sigh.

“I had lunch, and I'm okay. I really don't want to see her anymore tonight,” I explained, going to hug her.

My arms wrapped around her, and I hugged her with a smile.

I realized earlier that drugging the guards wasn't going to be enough, so I put some drugs in the food as well.

“Thank you, Mary. Thanks for everything you've done for me. I truly wish I could repay you,” I spoke, still in the hug. However, in a matter of seconds, she pulled away from the hug.

“I told you not to…” she trailed off, yawning at the end. “I told you not to thank me,” she expressed, trying to keep her eyes open.
