CHAPTER 16

The last thing I heard was “Don’t kill her” and then I passed out, I opened my eyes slowly and saw that I was in a car, I don’t know who was driving or where I was taken to, I looked at the environment and saw that we passed the town I lived with my grandma, my eyes eventually gave up and I submitted into the darkness. I felt like someone was carrying me but I was too weak to open my eyes, I started hearing beeping sound all of a sudden, I was wondering where it was coming from, I opened my eyes, the light was too bright am I dead I thought to myself, I heard someone calling my name, I blink my eyes rapidly adjusting to the lights, I looked at my surroundings everywhere was white, I looked and saw my boss, my eyes wide open as I was shocked, I tried getting up but couldn’t, hey relax okay, he said, I nodded my head, I looke at the jug of water on the table, he looked at me and brought it to me, he help me sit up, I took the glass of water from him and drank it fast like I have never t
