CHAPTER 5

I woke up in bed and not outside, I turned my head and looked at the time and saw it was 10:30 in the morning, I “groan” in pain when trying to get up but failed miserably, my head still hurts a little, I looked down and saw that I was still in my dress from last night, I heard key shuffling then with a click the door opened revealing Jake, he looked at me with no emotion on his face, he walked towards me and sat on the bed next to me, you look like like a mess right now, he said, I didn't even reply, I was just mute, he took my hand and dragged me up, I “whimpered” due to the pain I am feeling all over my body, go and refreshing up before you start to stink, he said, I looked at him as he spoke with venom towards me, I got up and slowly walked into the bathroom, I oopened the door and closed it, I looked in the mirror and saw how horrible I looked, my makeup was messed up, and my eyes look swollen, I looked at my cheek and saw that it was a little bit swollen, I held the edge of the sink and lowered my head, my hair covering my face like cotton, I cried silently, what went wrong, what happened to us, he wasn't like this to me before we have been dating for 2 years now and now going to 3 years in 2 months' time, I noticed he has been distanced from me lately and always on his phone, I don't know if it's for work or not but then again I don't want to jump into conclusion. I looked at myself in the mirror and wiped my tears, I took the toothbrush and brushed my teeth, then I stepped into the shower setting the water temperature to warm, when the water hit my body I felt relief, the tension in my body was relaxing, I took the shampoo and washed my hair, then followed by the conditioner, after washing my hair I took my sponge and bath gel and scrubbed my body when done scrubbing I watched the dirty and foam wash away into the drain, I stayed in the shower for some minutes enjoying the sensation of the water against my skin after that I step out of the shower then dried up my body wrapping the towel from my chest area, after having my shower I felt much better, I took my body lotion and rubbed it all over my body and then my face cream, I took the hair drier and dried my hair, I combed it and rubbed coconut oil in my hair making it shine more, I opened the wardrobe pulling out a simple flare gown I wore it and walked to the door as I was about to open the door but it didn't open, I bent down and saw that it was locked, I pound on the door, Jake!!! Jake open the door but no reply, I gave up and sat on the bed, and after like 30 minutes my stomach started “grumbling”. 

I placed my hand on my stomach, squeezing it a little thinking it would ease out the pain, I went back to the door, I pound on the door Jake!!! Please get me something to eat, please, I said while my body slide down the door, after some minutes, I heard the sound of keys, I stood up and backed away from the door, the door opened revealing Jake with a plate of food, he gave it to me with a cup of water, then he shut the door locking it, I looked at the plate, it was covered with a foil paper, I removed the foil paper revealing 2 slice of bread, spread with jam and scramble eggs on the side, its better than nothing, I took it and sat down and ate everything drinking the water also, I took the plate to the bathroom to wash it because I didn't want to pile up dirty dishes. I came out from the bathroom and dropped the plate on the table, I stretch my hands looking out the window, no thoughts on my mind, it was just blank as I looked out the window, I “sigh” and looked back at the table “my rejected mate” it's a werewolf story and it's so good, I took it and got comfortable on the bed since I couldn't get out of the house and there's nothing for me to do, I started reading the book and I didn't even know when I dozed off.

Amelia, wake up, wake up, I “groan” opening my eyes and saw jake next to me, he gave me a plate of food, I’ll be out and would be back tomorrow, don’t you dare leave the house, he didn’t even give me a chance to reply back he just walked out the door locking it and I heard the front door open and closed, I looked down on my plate and saw that it was spaghetti and meatball, I ate it in silence, I looked at the time on the clock and saw that it was 8:10, “gosh” I slept for so long, I noticed I haven’t seen my phone since I stood up and looked for it but no progress, where is it, I think Jake Is with it when he comes back I'll ask him, I'll just continue with my book for the meantime. 

Baby oh my, it's so nice to finally have some free time with you, the unknown person said throwing herself to Jake, I missed you Jake said while kissing the unknown person, so how's she, hope she's still alive, remember I don't want her dead, so make sure she stays alive until the time comes, we need to break her little by little, she'll pay for putting me in this position the unknown number said, don't worry I'll make sure of that, Jake said, I love you so much, Jake said, the unknown person “giggled” I love you too while jumping and wrapping her legs around his waist, let's go and rest for tonight, this night is for you, Jake said.
