Chapter 182

After some time, Nolan brought a female attendant over to help Amy pack her luggage.

About half an hour later, they finished packing and headed down the mountain.

When they arrived home, Mrs. Harper was shocked to see Aiden carrying Amy.

“What happened?”

“I’m fine. I just accidentally twisted my ankle.”

Knowing that Mrs. Harper was worried, Amy held her hand and gave a brief explanation.

Mrs. Harper got worked up as she listened to Amy’s story. “How could you be so careless?”

She glared at Amy but did not forget to thank Aiden.

“Mr. Lewis, thank you for bringing Amy back.”

“It’s nothing. You’re welcome.”

Aiden smiled before he said, “Miss Green, do spend the next couple of days resting and recovering at home.”

Amy nodded.

After Aiden bade the children goodbye, he left.

Night and Star reluctantly saw him off at the door. They were not willing to go back inside even after he was out of their sight. They just stared longingly at the elevator.
