The cabin by the lake

Jenny's POV

"Huw has always admired this cottage, ever since we were kids. He would always tell me that this is where he would live with his mate. It just so happens that this cottage became available a few years back."

Before Tyler could tell me anything else, Huw finally came around.

"I'm sorry. Did you say that it's been available for a few years now?"

"Yes, my friend. I remembered how much you wanted it, so I had it removed from the portfolio until you found your mate. I added it back to the portfolio earlier today."

I took the portfolio and looked at the pictures of the cottage by the lake. It was a beautiful 2-story log cabin with a herb garden on one side and flowers running along the front of the porch. "Hmmm, a swing would go nicely there," I thought to myself. Looking at the pictures of the inside and the outside as well as the surrounding area, I gasped out loud. "Is that...?"

"Yes, my love. That's the lake. The one that I took you to earlier today. My special place." Huw r
