Vanessa’s POV

“My lord, I was just leaving,” Aphrodite said bowing her head to Dante before leaving the room, while I just stood there confused and dumbfounded, I couldn’t believe what was happening, my sister coming back to take her rightful place, she doesn't even have a place in this palace to begin with.

Fury ignited within me as I replayed those words. How can she claim that she was the one destined to marry Alpha Dante, not me when she ran away with her lover without thinking of the consequences? How could my sister come into my house and make such a bold statement? The audacity of it all fueled my anger even more.
