Dante’s POV

“So where could she have run off to?” I asked my head guard, it's been weeks since Vanessa ran away and we haven't manage to get any Information about her whereabouts.

“We have no idea my lord, but wherever she is, she doesn't want to be found,” my head guard said taking me up by surprise, this is the first time he has given his own opinion about the search since we started.

“What if she is in danger? We can't just assume she is fine” I said resting my hand on my jaw, frustration evident in my voice. At this point, I need an opinion from someone who is not connected to Vanessa in any way. At least he has nothing to lose or gain by giving his opinion.

“If she was in danger I believe we would have found out by now, all the information we were able to gather showed that she left the pack successfully on her own accord” he replied plainly, I get the point he is driving at but it doesn't change the fact that Vanessa is pregnant and could be in danger out there alone
