Chapter 14: the master's kindness.

Ezra's POV:

Stephen had stopped bothering me entirely after what happened, he's such a shameless man, he doesn't come over as he used to and I was happy about that.

My turn came again to serve the master again and this time he was in the library.

I took the tray and went to the library. The guards opened the door for me and I stepped in.

The master wasn't in sight. I set the tray down on his table.I wonder why every corner of the house has an eating table.

I was about to leave but then I remembered I haven't read a book for two years, my mum taught me how to read and write,dad helped in teaching me as well. It was always fun when he was around and I really miss him.

" Think with your heart and not your brain," he always said.

I don't understand the meaning of that sentence till today,or was he just saying words at random.

I know it is risky trying to take a book but what's the harm in taking a book? I wonder if the master was in,but where is he?.
