Unfortunately, yesterday evening wasn't a dream because we were in completely unfamiliar surroundings. Sure, I had already looked at this room before going to sleep, but I hadn't paid much attention to it because I was too tired.

Sleep or staying still was out of the question, so I scooted to the edge of the bed and swung my feet over the edge.

Oh, goddess.

I really was in a strange house and under the same roof as a heartless alpha who was unfortunately my mate.

I sat briefly and looked around again. It may be a nice room, but given where exactly I was, you could do without it. Nevertheless, it was recognized as a guest room, which was mostly sparsely furnished.

There was this huge bed that almost ate you up with its softness. Otherwise, there was a large wardrobe made of light wood and a matching chest of drawers. Although the house was certainly ancient, the furniture in it was ultra-modern and you couldn't find a fault with it.

I stood up, my toes touching the soft carpeted floor.
